MINOS: Prototype Detector and Toroidal Magnetic Field

MINOS (Main Injector Neutrino Oscillations Search) is a new generation, long baseline neutrino oscillations experiment with two detectors, 730 km apart. A general description of the MINOS experiment will be given and then we will focus on the Toroidal Magnetic Field representation using Spatial Tessellation techniques (in the MINOS Object Oriented Framework). Also some preliminary results from a MINOS prototype detector, the first integration of all detector subsystems, will be presented.
