Performance of the DELPHI Refractometer in Monitoring the RICH Radiators

The DELPHI RICH refractometer, which is based on a pressure tunable Fabry-Perot interferometer, has been upgraded since 1996 by using a Pt-Ne spectral lamp, improved alignment and temperature control. As a result, for the first time in a major RICH installation, this system has been able to monitor the refractive index of the Cherenkov radiators of DELPHI near the VUV region. Results on refractivity of C512 and C410 from interferometric data recorded since 1996, are given. Results from special sample measurements taken recently for the liquid radiator C6F14 refractivity by transforming it to its gas phase, are also presented.
